God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

As people who live in a linear time-based world, we think of things as a natural progression. So when we look at the Bible story from Genesis through Jesus we see the story of man falling and God sending Jesus to “fix it”. God doesn’t see that. He decided in advance to bring us to himself through Jesus Christ.
What’s even better is that he didnt just decide to do it out of pity for us, He wanted to and It gave him great pleasure!!
When you feel down because you messed up, said the wrong thing, didn’t make it to church, whatever else you failed God with, remember that you are his adopted child and, while a father might correct, he doesn’t reject.
Stand strong in who you are in God and his secure adopted father love for you.
